SARI SUPPORTS RHODE ISLAND COMMUNITY FOOD BANK

Our 3rd charity fundraiser, an auction to benefit the Rhode Island Community Food Bank, netted a total of $3,000. The auction proceeds were presented to Lisa Roth Blackman, Senior Director of Development & Communications, and Andrew Schiff Executive Director, by Joseph Werbicki, Auction Chairman, and David Webster (pictured above) on December 11.

The event, held on October 25 at the Ramada Inn, Seekonk, MA, featured a buffet dinner, music by DJ Johnny B (John Bernardo), and a live auction, presided over by professional auctioneer, Bob Fricker.

With over 100 items, ranging from theater tickets to Red Sox memorabilia, the audience enjoyed a memorable evening of fast-paced fun, with numerous bargains to be had by lucky bidders.

The event committee consisted of David Grof, Paul Smith, David Webster, and Joseph Werbicki.

Feedback from attendees was all positive, expressing support for future such events.
